Manna restaurant is incredible. Firstly the staff are just so friendly and so attentive, talking you through the foods and wines, and just generally being so incredible. Then the food, simply incredible, very well thought out and incredible flavours, a true adventure of taste. I have been visiting Ljubljana each year for a while and always come to Manna during my stay for such a special experience at a very good price. Could not recommend highly enough. Love Manna.

Delicious food - came here for dinner on Saturday and had the tasting menu (four courses and you could get dessert). Was initially underwhelmed by the decor and dated background music but soon discovered that this was a true local gem. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted divine. Service was impeccable. Reservations a good idea, the restaurant was full. Would highly recommend.

Spectacular experience. The service was really exceptional and the food was terrific. I’m a big foodie and do a lot of research when traveling to make sure I get the best possible dining experience when visiting new places and at so glad I chose Manna for dinner in Ljubljana. I went with my entire family (7 adults and 3 small children) and we were treated like royalty. Our waiter was hustling the whole time, even worked up a good sweat making sure we were having a great experience and had everything we needed. He also made excellent wine recommendations and food suggestions. We all shared several starters so we could get samples of a lot of menu items, but be aware that the starters are quite small so if you plan to share like we did, you’ll need to order a few of each. The black seafood raviolis were really exceptional and the wild boar ragout with dumplings was surprisingly good. I had an off-menu special as my main dish – wild boar cheeks sous vide cooked for 40 HOURS and topped with a tasty sauce with red currants, dried raspberries and fresh veggies. It was really really special and very memorable. My brother in law ordered a different pork dish and had to wait a while for his meal because the chef over cooked the first one and didn’t want to serve anything that wasn’t perfect. I really respect and appreciate that from a chef. Only the best will do. As consolation for the additional wait, the waiter picked out a special red wine and served our family several glasses of that wine on the house. The deconstructed apple strudel desert was creative, fun and of course delicious. Please do yourself a favor and give Manna a visit in Ljubljana. You’ll thank me later.

One of our best culinary experiences in Ljubljana. The daily menu is great value (19,90€ for 5 courses). We left feeling very full after a selection of incredible and interesting food. Our server was really friendly and helpful, explaining each course to us and offering us a few different orange wines to try. Great experience overall and well worth a visit if you’re in the city.

Hopped over to Ljubljana for a long weekend and had the pick of our meals here at Manna. It’s a little outside the very centre of town but still easily reachable by foot. The retro interiors are in stark contrast to the inventive cooking. Every starter item has been given a twist. The grouper tartare was so good that we ordered a second helping. The mains (John Dory, duck, veal) came in very generous portions, while the two signature desserts were surprising yet pleasing takes on the strudel and fondant. Friendly and knowledgeable servers made this an memorable culinary journey from start to finish

Pleasantly surprised!! Slovenian food is delicious. Highly recommend the chefs tasting menu. Our waiter was fantastic and suggested wine pairing with local Slovenian wine and he did not disappoint. Fantastic experience which exceeded expectations. Our waiter was friendly and spoke very good English. He walked us through the menu and explained Slovenian wines. The food was excellent and truly a modern take on traditional and local food. Great service, great food and a good value. One of the best restaurants we visited in Europe. Absolutely worth a visit.

Lovely place not so far from the touristic centre of Ljubljana. Service is great and the food was superb. The covered terrace in the back is a lovely place to dine in summer: it protects the tables from the rain but gives the feeling of dining outside. It's a pity people are still allowed to smoke in there, which made our evening a bit less tasteful.

The 5-course menu was incredible. The best dishes on there for me was the garlic soup, the ragout, and the pork was so well prepared. The service was incredible as well. I am recommending this restaurant to all of my family and friends.

Very good food for reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was really good and we really enjoyed our lunch there. Ambient is also very nice and cosy. We will definitely visit them again.

This was an amazing find just a short walk from the popular river area. The food and service were both excellent. We sat in the garden which felt comfortable yet elegant. Even the bread and oils had a local and unique touch - loved the onion bread and pumpkin seed oil. We took wine recommendations that were great and still reasonably priced. The entre dishes standout from our entire trip. Definitely a restaurant I recommend to others.

Wow!!! This restaurant has absolute Michelin star quality!!! The food was as amazing as Pierre Gagnaire... The ravioli with beef cheek were a standout - my mouth salivates in an uncontrolled manner as soon as I think of it! Every moment is a surprise - the excellent bread was accompanied with a selection of oils including an incredibly exquisite smoked olive oil! And the service was just so above-the-chart lovely - not stiff and formal but just so straight from the heart as if the waiter had been your friend for 30 years! I will come back to Ljubljana just to eat here again! 20 out of 5 stars... ;)

A great place to eat. Fine dining seasonal menus at very reasonable prices. We are the 5 course tasting menu for only €38. Every dish was delicious and perfectly balanced. The waiters were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We were even provided with blankets, when the evening got a bit colder, without even asking. Lovely selection of Slovenian wines to try as well. A superb find in Ljubljana and definitely worth the visit! Only about 15mins walk from the three bridges.

Went there 2 times, on both we had the daily lunch menu for about €12.00 per person. A 4 course menu (soup, salad, main course and desert), along with a glass of wine. The food was more than generous and very tasty, most of it is still composed at the moment. For the main course you have 3 options (seafood, red mean or pasta)! About the service... just excellent! Well trained waiters they know about EACH dish they are serving (not commun any more)! I’d go their again, again and again!

Me and my boyfriend went to Manna during "Restaurant Week" and we were both very happy with our choice. The food was absolutely delicious, and there wasn't one thing we didn't like. The service is very professional and our waiter was really kind, altough they were pretty swamped. The restaurant itself is very cosy and homey and located in a nice area close to the city centre.

Very good food, service is fast and friendly, they accept reservations and the place is frequently overbooked; its located with some distance from the center, but gives a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Big selection of wines and good selection of fine food.

This restaurant is just great. I have visited many restaurants in Ljubljana and across Slovenia but for this one I am really excited. Such a peaceful and nice place for lunch or dinner, very kind staff always ready to have a chat with a guest, great dishes with natural flavours and also great wines and spirits avaliable. Prices are very kind to all guests, you can eat tasty lunch with 3 courses for 10 € or something very sofisticated for 20€. I recomend this restaurant if your are foor enthusiast as I am.

Excellent food and service. I had this pleasant feeling in my stomach afterwards, which rarely happens when I eat out. It means that the restaurant uses the best ingredients and takes great care when preparing food. It is a restaurant for gourmets. I really recommend it.

Excellent food matched by very friendly and competent service. Let them surprise you and go for the degustation menu. Price is absolutely ok for what you get. Wines are big discovery. Only the background music could be more ambient or jazz then pop (playlist repeating 3 times in the duration that I was there. Will come back for sure.
